چکیده
Abstract Soybean mosaic virus (SMV; Potyvirus , Potyviridae ) is one of the most prevalent and destructive viral pathogens in world. The P1 protein first N-terminal product potyvirus genome shows a high sequence variability that may be related to adaptation hosts. In this work, we focused on different functions proteins two SMV isolates GZL NB during their infection plants. Isolate induced weaker symptoms than mechanical inoculation assays, accumulation level CP -infected leaves was lower infected with especially at late stage infection. had similarity except for region. higher salicylic acid (SA) response Nicotiana benthamiana which explain titers plants . Our results suggest divergence these influenced virulence via differentially regulating SA signaling.

The Hypervariable Amino-Terminus of P1 Protease Modulates Potyviral Replication and Host Defense Responses
The replication of many RNA viruses involves the translation of polyproteins, whose processing by endopeptidases is a critical step for the release of functional subunits. P1 is the first protease encoded in plant potyvirus genomes; once activated by an as-yet-unknown host factor, it acts in cis on its own C-terminal end, hydrolyzing the P1-HCPro junction. Earlier research suggests that P1 coop...
متن کاملA pathogenicity determinant maps to the N-terminal coat protein region of the Pepino mosaic virus genome.
Pepino mosaic virus (PepMV) poses a worldwide threat to the tomato industry. Considerable differences at the genetic level allow for the distinction of four main genotypic clusters; however, the basis of the phenotypic outcome is difficult to elucidate. This work reports the generation of wild-type PepMV infectious clones of both EU (mild) and CH2 (aggressive) genotypes, from which chimeric inf...

متن کاملTriticum mosaic poacevirus enlists P1 rather than HC-Pro to suppress RNA silencing-mediated host defense.
Triticum mosaic virus (TriMV) is the type species of the newly established Poacevirus genus in the family Potyviridae. In this study, we demonstrate that in contrast to the helper component-proteinase (HC-Pro) of Potyvirus species, the P1 proteins of TriMV and Sugarcane streak mosaic poacevirus function in suppression of RNA silencing (SRS). TriMV P1 effectively suppressed silencing induced by ...
